Vicky in a salt lake

First  of all, I should start that for me traveling inside Greece is a real pleasure as I  really love this country. It’s nature, culture and of course warm sea, attracts me a lot! So I chose an excursion to natural SPA in Greece. We went like an hour by bus to the salt lake with healing water and mud. This time there wasn’t Russian or even English group, so I joined Polish group. There was also a couple from Hungary with us. I can say Polish is a bit similar to Ukrainian so I understood like 60% of everything the guide told us. But the guide was talking so quickly so was hard to understand sometimes. It was my first experience with a group which language I don’t know and never learnt. And for my surprise, people were soooooo friendly and nice. It was warm summer day, but it was cloudy. And it was even better because first we had an opportunity to swim in a salt lake which is very useful for the body. This natural SPA complex includes Castle in Greeceswimming in salt water (saying swimming I mean laying on the water as the water is sooooo salt and not deep). And after that we coated the whole body with curative mud. From the outside it looked ridiculous but I didn’t care as it was the main purpose of the journey. For me it was unusual, be covered by mud, but felt good. It was even funny to see so dirty people and myself this unusual way:) After that we had a chance to swim in the sea, which Walk under the rain in Greecewas right in front of the lake and clean up ourselves. It was really cool to swim in warm and clear water of the sea – it was exactly what I needed after such healing procedures. After that I felt like a baby – the skin was soft and pure. So we already felt hungry and the next destination was Greek village with local food and wine. The restaurant was typical Greek place, with local music and cultural features. The food was amazing (what else could i expect?:) and tasty Greek wine made us even closer with Polish. We already were like one big family – and I’ve never had such a feeling with complete strangers. After the dinner we had a walk along hill to the castle. It was a bit raining but it felt so good – summer warm rain in such a beautiful place. We took pictures of each other and enjoyed the walk and picturesque views. So that excursion was very unique – I had a chance to make a skin peeling and to enjoy local beauty, taste Greek food and wine.
