“Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.” -Gustav Flaubert”

After a few days in Minsk, it was time to go up North, to Lithuania. The bus trip between Minsk and Vilnius was scheduled to last around 4 hours, with a stop only at the border for security check and immigration control. I was really tired, so, during the trip I was mostly resting and watching the landscape, sometimes realizing how far from home I was, in the country side of Belarus XD Mauro in Lithuania
After we reached the border, there were controls on both sides. It took quite some time, since  they made all the passengers to open their bags to show what’s was inside. Again, I got that reaction when they saw my passport “ohhh Brazilia!!!!” XD On the Lithuanian side the girl even called a colleague to show it Haha

Okay, after I  reached  Vilnius, I had to hurry. Since I only had one day in the city I had it to make it count! I hurried to my hotel (took an Uber :DD) left my stuff there and started to walk around. Met with a friend and we went to taste the tradition Lithuanian food (and beer ofcourse :D). After I got full, we started to
visit the city’s sights. Had a great evening and regretted so badly that I couldn’t stay more! Woke up early in the morning to have a coffee and say goodbye to my friend, with the promise that I would return with more next time! 😀
