Zeebrugge. Submarine

“Jobs fill your pocket, but adventures fill your soul.”

Empty morning street in ZeebgruggeMy trip inside Belgium was in the middle of summer. But despite of that it was extremely cold, like in the end of November in Ukraine. Locals were wearing warm coats, hats and winter shoes. I didn’t expect such cold and didn’t have any warm clothes. I even hoped to swim in the North sea 🙂 But I wanted to walk without the rain so badly so weather did everything to help me to enjoy the Zeebrugge. Hotel roomwalk. Only I went into the hotel, the rain started but when I went for a walk, the rain stopped and let me enjoy the city, sights and take good pictures. It was incredible example that all we want is possible and the whole universe helps you to make your dreams come true. That’s why I didn’t get sick even I felt so cold. Zeebrugge is a small coastal city or even village in Belgium. But it was one of my favourite spots in there. Even starting with the hotel which offered small candies and coffee in the hall. The room was so cozy and location was so perfect to enjoy the walk. As always in travels, I couldn’t sleep knowing there is such a beauty outside waiting for me to show all secrets. So I got up so early and Morning port in Zeebruggewent for a walk with the sunrise. It’s my favourite time to enjoy a new place – the city is still sleeping and everything is so quiet around and only is waking up. I liked that roads were very wide and perfect as everywhere in Europe. During my walk I saw only rare bike riders on the street. I reached a large port. By large I meant enough big for such a small city 🙂 The streets were wide and there were a lot of Empty beach in Zeebruggeboats and yachts. And there were a lot of boxes for boats along the coast. For my surprise I even saw the real submarine first in my life. It was incredible view. The sea was so quiet and the sun was only starting to  get up over the sea, leaving beautiful reflections on the water and making it’s pink color. Walking along the coast, I unexpectedly reached the naval base. Going further there was a long and wide touristic coast with some hotels in the first line. But it wasn’t like in any other touristic place. All hotels seemed empty because of cold. And the coast and beaches didn’t seems very popular places as there were some plants among the sand. But I had a chance to enjoy the whole beach all by myself, toNorth Sea in Belgium listen to waves and wind, to smell sea air and to watch the whole beauty around. It’s so peaceful in there, safe and I could think in silence and to fill myself with that amazing air. As always sea gave me needed energy, inspiration and strength. And it was even better that there were no people around so I could enjoy the nature and surrounding places in silence, to see all I wanted. That’s why it is an incredible place to restore the internal balance.
