Normally when you take a Day for traveling between countries, nothing too exciting happens. But on my way from Munich to Ostrava with a stop in Brno, a few interesting things happened. I left the great Wombats hostel in Munich early in the morning, stopped at the Burger King to eat, because to be honest, I’m kinda bitchy about food and I couldn’t eat those sausages anymore XD

Okay, back to the topic, I took the train to the airport when my suitcase started giving signs that I wouldn’t handle the whole trip. At the airport my Street in Czech Republicflight got a bit delayed and after some waiting we finally took off to Brno, a short flight around 45 minutes (and they served free food, thanks BMI airlines :D).

When we landed in the airport I had this nice feeling, I realized that I was in the country side of an European country all by myself! Made me feel adventurous Haha. When I was taking a bus to center of Brno, the price was like 70 Czech crowns (Or something like that), and I was like “wow!” but then the bus drive said “or 1 euro” and I was like “yay!” Haha

Food in Czech RepublicSpent some time on Brno center, where there’s a good amount of tourists and students and then took the train to Ostrava. The trip took like 1,5 hour and the price was really cheap. I started to notice how things were cheap in Czech Republic compared to Germany and Brazil and that was a very good thing 😀 One day I was looking for something to eat in Ostrava and somehow I ended up in this very fancy restaurant with two (I said two) waiters only for myself, offering me wine and stuff XD I ordered some wine and some pasta and started to get afraid that I would have to wash dishes to pay the bill, but when the bill came it was only 14 euros and I was like “what?” XDBeer in Czech Republic

Back to my trip, I reached Ostrava, it was Sunday evening and the city was desert. Luckily my hotel was near the station and I just walked there. When I got there, SURPRISE! They had a sign saying to call them that they would come to open the door. The thing is that my phone didn’t make calls in Europe, only internet. So I thought “great, I’m gonna be homeless in a foreigner country” XD

So I sent a message to a friend and she called the guy for me. I was saved, otherwise I was really screwed XD
