Once a year, go some place you’ve never been before.”

After my short stay in Vilnius it was time to leave already, destination Latvia, Riga to be more specific. It was a nice bus trip and it took me around 3 hours (if I remember correctly). It was a very nice trip actually, with a lot of sights on the road plus the sea. And it was hot! Not like Brazilian hot but still, I bet the natives were surprised with the heat Haha (Or maybe not, who knows XD).
Mauro walking in the streetSo, the first surprise that I had when I arrived it’s that my internet didn’t work there and I kinda forgot to look how to reach my hostel XD So I wandered around looking for a free Wifi until I found some and gpsed my way until there. It was longer than I thought and I had to walk for like 40 minutes with my luggage on some streets that clearly weren’t made for it XD

Okay, after finally finding the hostel, which was kinda hidden by the way, I left my stuff there and decided to explore the old city. In my head the plan was “Walk as much as you can and take an Uber back”. You can imagine the fail already Haha I was also looking for an official jersey from the Latvian National Team and, after visiting a few shopping malls, they sent me to that place almost out of town XD It started to creep me out when I was walking along what seemed to be a highway with almost no buildings next XD
So it was time to quit and admit the defeat so I took my phone to call an Uber when I hadplaying volley on the beach the surprise “Uber is not available in that location”. But they wrote on their website they did XD Anyway, I was pretty hopeless already, there was nothing there, so I couldn’t even buy a bottle of water XD Buuut, as a miracle, I saw some people playing beach volley in a place nearby and bam! They were Brazilians playing a tournament there! I know, how random is that Haha So guess who got a ride back to town! 😀
