Morning Coffee

Morning is a very important part of the day. Your day will be successful if you received needed energy during your breakfast. So a breakfast is the most important meal of a day. And the huge role in it belongs to drinks. All people have own habits and preferences about drinks. Let’s find out a bit more about those drinks which give us wings and inspiration for the day.

The Leader of Morning Drinks is Coffeecoffee in the morning

So the leading role belongs to coffee. There are so many different types of coffee, tastes, flavours, ways of cooking it. Traveling I like to taste coffee in different countries – it makes me be closer to other culture, brings me joy and happiness for the whole day. But, to be honest, I didn’t like it everywhere. But I can tell you about my favourite tastes. The best coffee I’ve ever tried was in France. French coffee with fresh French croissants – this is a heaven in Europe 🙂 That was my perfect breakfast. But I also enjoyed the coffee I cooked myself in Montenegro and Spain – it made me buy a traveling coffee maker so now I travel only with my own compact coffee machine. I liked a coffee even in a bus station in Madrid – it gave me energy to walk 35km!!! In Madrid that day! Wow, that was really a great coffee at 6am!

The most conservative choice – teatea in the morning

People used to think that all British like tea and it’s an English morning drink. Yes, it’s a common opinion. But my British friend told me that he prefers a coffee – that was unexpected! Anyway, my personal favourite tea for morning is ceylon tea! And in the country of origin – Ceylon island which is Sri Lanka now, it has rather different taste and it’s not the same as I drink it at home. I don’t know is it because of water, air and in general feeling, but that was the most tasty tea, I’ve ever tried – just black tea…

Not hot drinksjuices

Sometimes I don’t want to drink hot drinks, in this case the best choice is fresh juice! Most hotels I’ve been to had juice machines so it was a real pleasure to make the fresh juice yourself and it’s really healthy! In different countries you can try even those juices you can’t try in your country and this is the best in trips!

A look into Brazilian onesGuaraná

Speaking about Brazilian morning drinks, there are a few that I would like to mention. Of course, Brazilian coffee is appreciated all over the world and it is great. Almost all Brazilians have it in the morning and during the day. The irony is that I Guaraná drinksdon’t drink coffee myself, even though I tell everyone that Brazilian coffee is great (Because it is!!!) Haha .

But now i would like to talk about some less known drinks. Some of you may even say it is exotic Haha. For example, there’s guaraná. It’s a fruit that grows in the Amazon and, when ingested, gives you a lot of energy, similar to coffee (I use it a lot when I’m sleepy at work and I can’t fall asleep Haha). The Guaraná soda is one of the major Brazilian exporting beverages!

The Juicescaju

Continuing about popular morning drinks, there are the juices. Besides the usual orange-watermelon-tangerine ones, there are a few that I would like to talk about. To start, we have açaí, famous for it sweetness and fulfilling effect. It is also very sweet (people also eat the fruit with a lot of sweet stuff, like chantilly).

passion fruit maracuyaCajú (forgive me everyone, but I don’t know the English word for it) it is also very popular, being a fruit that grows in the cerrado, region of Brazil where I live (Lucky me :D). Really, sometimes I am walking around and bam! A cajú tree hanging around Haha.
To finish there’s maracujá (forgive me again for not knowing the English word for it 🙁 ( I swear i would look i look on google translate for you but i had a few beers and i’m lazy Haha)) (passion fruit – noted by Victoria). Maracujá has the opposite effect. It is a great fruit if you need to be calm, to get less nervous and basically sleep. When I drink I can count, I will fell asleep in 30 minutes Haha But believe me, it’s delicious, so sometimes I drink it when I don’t plan to sleep and the magic just happens! Haha 😀
