The Belgian Beauty in a Small Location
Dinant is my absolutely favourite place in Belgium. Visiting this small but such an amazing city made me fall in love with the whole country, it’s culture, traditions and nature. This city has only some streets, located in River Meuse what makes the city more attractive – between both riversides. 
You can go round the whole city for less than one hour. The city’s landmark is the Collegiate Church of Notre Dame de Dinant. It was rebuilt in Gothic style and located near a beautiful rock what makes the view incredible. The time I was visited it wasn’t such a famous touristic place and luckily I had an opportunity to enjoy my walk around the city without noisy tourists all around what I liked the most 🙂 It was the 
middle of the summer but the weather was cold (ususal for Belgium), almost raining and still it was an amazing memory. The coast of the river wasn’t finished yet but there was an enough big hotel close it the coast and the area around it was surrounded by flowers – an amazing view! The water was dark, as used to be in a river but the feeling was so peaceful.
The famous unique feature of Dinant
The city got its popularity by the most famous person who was born in there – Adolphe Sax, the inventor of 
saxophone. People made the city all about the person they are proud of who became a history. The house of Sax is a museum nowadays but it’s not only that. All lights were made in saxophone shapes. Which is really incredible – everything in the city reminds saxophone, makes you to be closer to the history, to music and the whole unique beauty. But the best sight I’ve ever seen in the world – is Charles de Gaulle Bridge. This is a bridge over the Meuse river, decorated with the most perfectly beautiful saxophones, created for each country in EU. Each saxophone is unique and is a real masterpiece. The view from the other riverside to the bridge, church rock, river and citadel – is the view which can inspire any artist. It’s full of 
colors, shapes and life – such unpredictable and beautiful. Who could know that in such a small city is hidden such incredible beauty.
In general narrow but so comfortable streets make you feel Belgian hospitality, majestic medieval beauty and cold but peaceful feeling of freedom and safeness.
