Sunny (not so sunny) Sunday and it was the Day to make a little trip. Destination: Waterfalls. My city, Chapada dos Guimarães, is surrounded by a countless number of waterfalls, and I went to visit some of them. My bag consisted on: Snacks, water, clothes and towel. I felt like I was missing something and later I found out what it was: Sun protector XD Poor of my neck XD
To get to the waterfalls, first we need to go by car around 7kms and then hike by around 8 kms. My legs were dying on the first two xD But all the way is really beautiful though, so, for someone with a little better shape than me will enjoy it deeply. We can see all the cerrado, mountains and sometimes little animals, like parrots and other birds.
The Waterfalls
The route we took consisted on 7 different waterfalls: Andorinha, Prainha, Degrau, Pulo, Independência, Véu de Noiva, and Massagem. I could translate their names, but hmm, I won’t Haha. It would be a bit complicated Haha. What I can say about them is that the water is pure and the places are great for swimming.
I’m a person who can’t swim very well, but that didn’t stop me from enjoying it. Most of the places are not so deep, so you can be there safely. The water was kinda cold, but after you get in, you really don’t wanna get out! It is the perfect place to be on a sunny day, as you will all see on the pictures!
