Chapada dos Guimarães, my hometown, has a different atmosphere I would say. Being a small town, the population increases significantly during the weekends, with people from nearby towns looking for the attractions the city has to offer, including the weather, less hot.
It was one of these days, in a Sunday afternoon, that I decided to visit the central square with my friend to spend some time. It was a very agitated afternoon, with a lot of people sitting in the park and on the surrounding bars. We decided to go to this bar where they played live Samba and couldn’t have made better choice. The musician played a selection 
of many classics which made the clients sing along many times. The whole atmosphere was great, very relaxed, with people sitting in the tables around the park, eating, talking and drinking. The weather couldn’t be better, being sunny and around 25C.
We literally didn’t see the time passing, we sat there around 15:30 and when we realized it was 19:30 already! Since it’s a small town, we saw many people we knew, which only made the day better. When we started feeling hungry we decided to eat pastels, a delicious Brazilian snack. I actually 6 of them XD But they were small! Haha
So, after we decided to go home, I took a small walk, since I live around 10 minutes from the center, enjoying the view and being in peace with myself, knowing that I had a great day and wishing to more to come!
