This is something you must to see as they are incredible. Each one is so picturesque and unique. This is where you can try rafting – was my dream 🙂 My absolutely favourite one canyon is Tara. There is the second biggest bridge in Europe where you can experience zipline ride over that canyon. The view is incredible and you can feel adrenaline in your head. And it doesn’t scary at all. The man The second biggest bridge in Europebefore me was afraid to try it but I even didn’t feel a fear. I was even able to make a video during the ride oven the canyon – I saw the river under me, mountains and trees around and gorgeous bridge. It was the best experience I’ve tried. It makes you feel freedom and happiness.

5 – Lakes in mountains

Lakes in mountainsThe trip to the mountains is a bit dangerous and you can get sick from long ride in steep slopes and narrow roads but the result worth it. The most important is The Durmitor. It’is a massif located in northwestern Montenegro. It is part of the Dinaric Alps. Its highest peak, Bobotov Kuk, reaches a height of 2,523 meters. The massif gives its name to the national park that comprises it, which was added to the Black lake in Durmitorlist of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1980. There is my favourite Black Lake, which lies at the foot of Međed Peak and has an area of 0.515 square km. The lake consists of two smaller lakes: Big Lake (Veliko jezero) and Little Lake (Malo jezero). The lakes are connected by a narrow strait that dries up during the summer, creating two separate bodies of water. The view is amazing and forest around admires by its beauty and majesty. It’s the most peaceful place I’ve been to. This is the place where you can find an inspiration and don’t feel hot even at summer. The atmosphere is there is special and everything whisper that it’s a magical place.

6 – The Old Town of Budva

The Old Town of BudvaBudva is the most popular touristic resort in Montenegro. Budva Riviera attracts by beautiful beaches, amazing views and by The Old Town of Budva. It’s situated on a rocky peninsula, on the southern end of Budva field. The entire town is encircled with defensive stone walls. The fortifications of Budva are typical of the Medieval walled cities of the Adriatic, complete with towers, embrasures, fortified city gates and a citadel. There is a port with expensive yachts in it and a small beach. Everything is located in the one place to enjoy different experiences.

7 – The Port of Bar

The port of BarThe Port of Bar is the Montenegro’s main sea port, located in Bar city.  The port of Bar represents very important transport connection of Montenegro with all world. There are a lot of beautiful yachts, boats in there, navy. I like two lighthouses in a port – you can see an amazing sunset in the sea from the lighthouse.

8 – Becici BeachBecici Beach

Most beaches in Montenegro are stony and enough small. And one of my favourite beaches is in Becici. It’s almost sandy, long and wide beach, located in a bay so it’s more warm to swim in there. The sea is more clean and with no waves. It’s a perfect place to enjoy swimming and sunbathing. And it’s located close to Budva Riviera so it makes this resort very attractive to tourists. It’s more quiet than Budva and have a lot of beautiful hotels and villas for tourists.

9 – Lake Skadar

Lake Skadar lies on the border of Albania and Montenegro, and is the largest lake in Southern Europe. The surrounding area is a big national park which has a lot of rear birds, animals and plans. The view from Montenegro side is incredible and the water is clean, you can swim in there at summer, enjoy a lot of beautiful water lilies or to fish but you need to get a permission for that first. Skadar lake view. Water liliesBecause it’s  much cheaper to fish yourself than to buy a fish in a supermarket. You can take a trip on a Lake Skadar and to see the most beautiful places around and if you will be lucky – to see some rare birds.

10 – Podgorica

PodgoricaPodgorica is the capital of Montenegro and the largest city. There is a modern architectural, cultural and economical city. And it’s not that big as most capitals in the world what makes you feel comfortable. It has its own airport and other kinds of transports, universities, shopping centers. And the location is perfect so you can easily get to the sea by car during 40-60 minutes.

Of course Montenegro has much more amazing places but these I would consider as must see 🙂 Enjoy your travels!
